Operation Caregiver

November 1, 2011

Each year, AACM (Arizona Association of Community Managers) sponsors Operation Caregiver, a statewide effort to collect much needed items for our troops in Afghanistan. Vision has pledged a $2,000 financial donation to help cover shipping costs of these boxes. This is a wonderful cause that Vision is proud to be a part of.

2011 G.A.I.N. A Huge Success

October 15, 2011

VCM was a proud participant in the 2011 state-wide movement called G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved In Neighborhoods) in Goodyear, Avondale, and Estrella Mountain.

GAIN events are designed to bring communities together, along with local businesses, law enforcement and rescue personnel, with the primary focus to promote community awareness, safety programs, and to foster a sense of neighbor-meeting-neighbor dynamic. These events had an incredible turnout; neighbors, community businesses, churches, and emergency personnel all came out by the thousands and enjoyed the festivities!

Kiwanis Bike Drive

October 15, 2011

Vision Community Management pledged and donated 36 bikes to the The Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee. Pedaling towards a common goal, VISION joined Kiwanis in their 'Bikes for Tykes' campaign, and its goal to collect 200 bikes in their 2nd annual bike drive.

"Your bike represented your first freedom - it was the first apron string you got to cut," remembers Darin Fisher, CEO. "I donated bikes to the National Guard last year and this year wanted to help our Kiwanis give bikes to kids who might not otherwise ever get one."

Red, White, and Boom

July 1, 2011

Vision Community Management made a $15,000 donation and became presenting sponsor for the Ahwautukee Foothills fireworks display.

Vision Community Management CEO Darin Fisher noted, "We have great community traditions like the Easter Parade, Festival of Lights and, of course, the fireworks. I'm happy to do this, but if everyone in Ahwatukee Foothills gave just $1, then we could fund all three of these traditions for the whole year."

March 23, 2011

Vision Community Management made a donation of $5,000 and dropped off boxes of paper, food and other supplies on Saturday, March 19, 2011 to Ambassador Academy, 3820 E Ray Road. Vision "adopted" the school and will deliver more goods to the school in the coming months.

A plaque was presented by Chad Price of the City of Casa Grande Parks & Recreation Dept at the Clean and Beautiful Board meeting to recognize Vision’s efforts and contribution to the Neighborhood Clean Up.

We've Adopted

January 1, 2010

Vision adopted a family in 2010 through the Phoenix Childrens Project, and we continue to support mom and her three children on their birthdays and holidays, bringing the children birthday cake and presents on their birthdays, and gift wrapped presents on Christmas. This organization is dedicated to caring for children living in poverty in Phoenix, AZ. One hundred percent of all donations are used for the children.
