1. The Clubhouse may be rented for a private function only by a homeowner. Homeowners must be current with the HOA, e.g. no delinquencies, late fees or violations, in order to rent the clubhouse.
2. The Clubhouse is for personal and private use and not for business or commercial activity for profit. All activities must be contained in the Clubhouse. The pool/spa, outer patio and pool area cannot be reserved and must remain available to all residents. The Clubhouse must be vacated by 10:00 pm.
3. If a tenant of a rental unit wishes to use the Clubhouse for a private function, the homeowner and tenant must both sign this form stating that they agree to their tenant's request. The homeowner and tenant are jointly responsible for guest behavior and any damage that may occur. The homeowner or tenant responsible for the party must be present at the party at all times. The homeowner/tenant and guests assume the risk and responsibility for all damages to their persons or property during the course of their use of the Clubhouse and hereby release the Laguna Shores HOA, VISION Community Management and their respective directors, officers, employees, of all liability for the same.
4. If all the Do's and Dont's listed below are followed and the clubhouse is left undamaged, the entire rental fee may be refunded. If not, the entire rental fee will be forfeited. DO: Leave the clubhouse as you found it. This means: Remove all trash and garbage from the premises Wipe down all counter and table tops Remove all decorations Replace any furniture back to its original position DON'T: Use ANY of the food, beverages or supplies such as napkins and plastic ware. These items are purchased by the HOA for HOA activities, not private parties. The refrigerator may be used only for storing food.
5. The clubhouse will be inspected following your rental to determine whether the fee should be refunded or retained to cover cleaning and/or repair costs. If damages exceed the amount of the deposit, the balance will be charged to the homeowner's account and treated as an assessment subject to late fees and collection procedures.
6. No alcohol may be consumed on the premises by anyone under the age of 21. You are legally responsible for anyone violating this rule.
7. Music is allowed in the clubhouse, but no music is permitted that would disturb neighboring residents. No outside loudspeakers are permitted.
8. The owner/resident responsible for the party needs to inform all guests ahead of time that parking is allowed only in the uncovered parking spaces. In order to reserve the Clubhouse, Call VISION Community Management to see if the date is available. Reservations are taken on first come basis. If it is available and you wish to reserve the date, complete and sign these forms and provide a check for the rental fee. Make your check payable to: a. 9. The key to the clubhouse should be picked up no earlier than the day before your event, or on Friday, should the reservation be held over the weekend.
10. The Clubhouse Cleaning Fee Agreement must be filled out and returned to Vision Community Management prior to the requested reservation date. 13. The instructions containing the lockbox code and cleaning checklist will be delivered via email no sooner than the business day of the reservation. If the reservation is to take place on Saturday or Sunday, the document will be provided the Friday before.
